Otto's Cassava Flour is wonderful for all my baking needs; it has a mellow flavor profile, is finely ground (no grit like some Cassava flours), and substitutes well in many recipes. It seems to work consistently each time. I make the best "flour" tortillas for burritos of all kinds, something this Mexican American missed when I became grain free. I've also made all sorts of other goodies over the last two years...everything from biscuits, crust for pot pie, pancakes, cookies and brownies.
Gluten Free without grains is an extra challenge and Otto's Natural Cassava Flour makes it possible. If I'm baking, there's usually some Otto's involved. But even if I never baked another pie, muffin or cookie, I'd keep it around for the pizza crust. Do yourself a favor and try the pizza! Hi, The package arrived quickly and I am already enjoying the tortilla recipe. I use them as flat bread with my egg omelettes, make sandwiches, wraps and soft tacos. All is delicious. Also baked cookies and they turned out quite good. Thank you!
